We got to experience our first blizzard. It was quite exciting! The wind roared and howled for about 24 hours with snow blowing so much that sometimes we couldn't see the house across the street. Thankfully our house didn't blow down nor did the electricity go out.
This afternoon the winds died down and the sun came out, and so did everyone on our street. We were all outside shoveling snow off of our driveways and sidewalks. The winds caused large drifts of snow in some yards, and others had hardly any snow in them at all. We had about 2 feet of snow on latter half of our driveway and it was a workout getting it all shoveled off.

Our neighbor across the street had a big snow drift all up to his front door.

We have a large pile of snow on our deck

Josiah watching intently as his daddy is working hard outside. We joined him shortly once we got all bundled up.

Oh my goodness, he gets cuter everyday.

Our big snow pile as tall as the mailbox. Our mail-lady is going to need snow shoes to get to our mailbox.

We played outside for a long time then came inside for some lunch. And something happened that has never happened before. Josiah passed out before ever touching his food.

It was a fun couple of days. School was closed so Justin didn't have to work. We've been hanging out in our warm and toasty house having a good time together. Back to work again tomorrow!
What a wonderful adventure God has sent you on! I love the pictures of Justin and Josiah together... they look so much alike.
