Here are some ways you can pray for us this week:
- First and foremost that God would go before us, preparing the hearts of those we are going to come in contact with, and that we would have the attitude, heart, and mind of Christ in everything that we do and say.
- That the Spirit of the Lord would fall fresh on that place on Sunday... because where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom! And don't we all need freedom from the bondage of sin in our lives. We have no idea who will be there, or what they are going through or have gone through, but we just pray that they will have open ears and hearts to hear from Him.
- Wisdom for Justin as he prepares a message for Sunday, and that he would be sensitive to how God is leading him to prepare.
- Guidance for me and Bethany as we work on the children's worship time for Sunday.
- That people who do not know the Lord will be drawn to come to the service on Sunday or the block parties throughout the week.
- Strength and rest for Justin-- he is so tired, driving the bus and dealing with the bad kids all day and being gone from 6 am-6pm just wears him out. Thankfully school is out June 9th
- A door would open for him to get another job this summer.
- Safety for the group from Alabama as they travel and blessings over them for their servants hearts.
- A Praise- we met another Christian couple and they have agreed to help us this summer at our preview services and anything else we need extra hands and people at. And they have a little boy who is Josiah's age so that is an added bonus!
- And just say a prayer of Thanksgiving to the Lord for what He is doing around us, for the ways He is providing, for the guidance He is giving us, for the strength and encouragement He gives, and for the great things He wants to accomplish here in Rapid City! We serve an Almighty God who is capable of doing things bigger than we can imagine. I'm so Thankful to serve my God who is capable and willing and wants to do amazing things so that others may come to know Him and so that He alone can be glorified.
Thank you for your prayers. :)
Jennifer, thank you for sending out a comprehensive prayer list for your upcoming week. I just finished praying through all of it, printed it and put it on the refrigerator so we would not forget to continue praying for you all throughout the week.
