Childhood friendships are so sweet!
Josiah considers everyone his friend. He is such a people person. He LOVES when people come to our house, which is good because we have people over several times a week. He thinks every person that comes over is there to see and play with him.
Most of his friends that we see often are cute little girls.
Girls are so different from boys.
- They are less apt to turn every object into a weapon.
- They are bossy, but that's ok, Josiah doesn't mind. He does what they say or just tells them no if he doesn't want to do something.
- They talk more, A LOT more than Josiah. Their knowledge of words and ability to make
sentences are much more advanced.
- They get to wear cute clothes, shoes, accessories, ect.
- They all potty trained before he did. (even still he poops in a diaper)
- They are much more affectionate than he is. They always want to hold hands or walk
together or hug, ect, but many times Josiah just looks at them like they are crazy. ha!
(A few months ago we were walking through the mall with his friend Emily and she
wanted to hold his hand. He told her, " NO!" and walked away. She looked at her
mommy, with tears welling in her eyes and said, "I just want to hold his hand..." and she
just cried and cried. It was so sad! A few minutes later he grabbed her hand and walked with her, once he realized she was sad. )
This is his friend Emily. They sometimes act like siblings, fighting and arguing over toys but always have a great time together. Here they are playing trains together.

Having a discussion about what's going on. She was talking a lot and I think Josiah got bored and was tuning her out. His face cracks me up!!!

"Fixing" the bike
His other friend Hannah. She may be small, but her personality is not! She had him playing "house" with her, he was rocking the baby and even feeding the baby (and not with the bottle, hahahaha!) She is really sweet to him.

I love that he has such sweet friends! And I love their mommy's too! Our friends are like our family. The Lord has truly blessed us.

Aw...Josiah and his friends are so cute together! I especially loved the "holding hands" story!
