Family Love #1

The last 2 weeks we've had a fun time with family that came to visit. First, Justin's mom and Craig came for a visit. It was a great week with them! Their grandkids were spoiled by all of the love and attention, and we were spoiled too, having someone to entertain them for a few days!
They went on several fun outings together. The played hard at the park.

Justin, Craig, and Josiah went to the Air Force museum at the base and looked at all of the old planes. Craig loved that!
Then they took Josiah and Paul to a small indoor waterpark. All 4 of them were worn out afterwards! Paul wouldn't take his shoes off, so he swam with them on. Josiah was fearless in the water, even though he doesn't know how to swim. Thank goodness for floaties and a strong Papaw!
He looks so big to me here! My 4 year old looks like a 6 year old!
They rode bikes a lot too, Paul had to stop and save an ant from being run over. He was very concerned and did not want to run it over. And then he smashed it with his finger. Nice...

Some lovin' time with his Memo, so sweet!

They also watched all 3 children so we could go on a real date! That has not happened in a year. We were gone for 5 1/2 hours, the longest we've been alone in quite some time. Leah did great and hardly cried. She wouldn't take a bottle, but drank the milk from a spoon. My sweet mother-in-law fed her 3 oz from a spoon! Justin and I watched the Hunger Games movie (I had to see it after reading the books!), then went to a lovely new, fancy restaurant downtown and ate the most delicious food. We walked around downtown and got dessert too. It was nice to hold hands and talk without being interrupted. Those moments are treasured.
We had a wonderful time and are always so grateful when our family spends the time and money to come up here to the great wild west of South Dakota to spend time with us. We love the company and the memory making. It means a lot to us. Love you guys!
