Pre-Summer

This winter has been amazing! Hardly any snow, warmer than normal temperatures, and most of the winter spent outside! The first winter we moved here it snowed and/or there were blizzards from January until May. So all of us here are grateful for the abnormally warm temperatures.

The boys have enjoyed playing outside most every day together. Many times it is a fight getting them to go outside and then when it's time to come in they don't want to. I hear my mother's voice when I tell them "You are not allowed inside, GO outside and play now!"

These pictures were taken a month ago. It was warm enough for them to play in the water, they loved it! They watered the entire backyard. They played until it was dark and we even ate dinner outside on the patio as they were wet and wrapped up in their towels. 

And it's gardening time already!
The onions, lettuce and asparagus are planted.
The boys are already loving running through the sprinkler.
Oh to be a kid and carefree again.

 And to wear your pants backwards and not care...

 And to get SUPER excited about water droplets flying in the air....

 And to laugh so hard you fall on the ground, holding your belly because it hurts from laughing so much....

And to be soaking wet with all of your clothes on and then strip off all of your clothes in the backyard without realizing neighbors can see you, and pee in the grass while your mom isn't looking...

Being a kid is grand!
