Christmas Time at our Home

Meant to post this a while ago…

Our Jesse Tree Advent that we did through the month of December. Each night we opened an ornament and read from our Jesse Tree Advent book. Each reading, devotional and ornament tells about the lineage of Jesus through the Bible. This will be a yearly tradition for us.

Decorating sugar cookies

Making gingerbread houses out of graham crackers. They loved this!

Josiah licking his.
Paul smelling his.
Leah eating hers.
Classic!
We celebrated Christmas morning 2 days before since we would be traveling on Christmas Day.
The kids were excited!

Josiah tore into his presents as fast as he could. Paul opened 3 things and said he was done and did not need anything else (Mr. Content). Leah opened one present and wouldn't open any more. Justin opened them all for her.
I love Paul, he is so excited about everything! This was a wooden food cutting set. He played with this forever!

It was a very Merry Christmas!

  1. Your Jesse Tree looks awesome! What is the blue ornament? The earth? Creation story? Very pretty! You should have posted a pic of the one you made! Also, I am very impressed that your grahm cracker houses are all standing! That looks very difficult. We grew up hot gluing our together so they could withstand the decorating!
