These are my parents
While Josiah was playing and having a great time with his grandparents, we were able to go to San Antonio with no worries. Not only did we get some time to relax and eat good food, but we met some great people and learned a lot while we were there. We got to meet other church planters from Texas and a few that came from New York. It was nice to get to talk to others who have been where we are now, at the very beginning of church planting. It was good for me to have an opportunity to talk to other women, hear their stories, listen to their wisdom. God put in our path some people while we were there who were such an encouragement to us!
We even met a man who has been planting churches since the 80's and is now coaching church planters. By God's divine intervention, this guy sat at our table for dinner the last night and Justin was able to talk to him. They met after dinner and talked until 11:30 that night and Justin is hoping to be able to get started with him for an 18 month coaching. This guy will challenge Justin, keep him accountable, give him advice about things that he has seen over the years that work and don't work, and help him to get a timeline together of things he needs to get done. He gave Justin a lot to think about and we are excited to get started doing some new things as we get ready for the official launch of Hills of Grace at the end of the summer. We've got a lot to do before then! Please continue to pray that God gives us wisdom and discernment as we seek to do His will here in South Dakota.
