Texas Fun

We recently returned from a week in Texas and now need a vacation. ha! We were busy, and Justin was on the road a lot of that time visiting some different people. We flew into Houston spent some time with his family, then Justin drove to Dallas and spent a few days there. Then he drove back to his mom's, picked me up, left Josiah with the grandparents and we headed to Austin for a church planter's retreat. By the time we arrived home late Saturday night we were exhausted after our wonderful week with family and friends!! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Justin and his brother did some fishing in the little pond behind their mom's house. They had just stocked the pond a few months ago so the fish weren't that big yet, as you can see!

Me and the boys spent a few days at my parents house while Justin was in Dallas. My momma spoiled me with good food and taking care of Josiah during the night so I could sleep some. We had a fun time!

While we were in Austin we met some friends at a coffee shop that we had not seen in several years and got to catch up a little. It was so wonderful seeing them!

Our trip was so much fun and our families enjoyed getting to see Paul. By the time we get to go back to Texas, Paul will probably be walking. Thank goodness for video chat so we can see and talk to our families even though we live far away.

We've hit the ground running already. Sunday was a great day at church! We've had several new families visit and these next few weeks we're going to be having them over to our house to get to know them better. (I wish there was a Cleaning Fairy I could call to come clean my house, it's a wreck!) And we're gearing up for Easter Sunday... but more on that later.
