Hunting, The Squirts, and Mom

Before my parents came Paul got the stomach virus. I assumed he would be better by the time they arrived but no such luck. He was so pitiful when the diarrhea started and lasted for 4 LONG days. My mom is amazing. She was a huge help to me during it all. She did endless amounts of laundry, entertained Josiah, cleaned, and was comic relief during 4 days of Paul screaming nearly all day. (stomach cramps and diarrhea caused him to scream constantly!) But we survived it all and even had a good time. My dad took Justin pheasant hunting for 2 days, about 4 hours east of here. They had a great time! My mom and I spent an afternoon alone together when they got back and it was a much needed time away!

My mom and her twin Leah, they have the same color hair! My mom advised me to work with the curls and not try to tame them. This straight haired girl doesn't know how to style a curly-head of hair. My mom, thankfully understands thick, wavy hair.
She brought some nice stride rite walking shoes for her! They are so cute. She hated them at first and tried to kick them off.

On Saturday, the weather was a beautiful 70 degrees so we went to the park and had a picnic (even though Paul was still crabby).

They're looking for fish.

He rolled down a hill that had pine needles everywhere and got them all down his pants. He was trying to dig them out. ha!

Leah's first time in the sand. She really liked it!

So sad!
Here are pictures of my dad and Justin on their hunting trip. Men in the wild prairie of South Dakota hunting and shooting wild pheasants! They were in heaven.

Thank you Mom and Dad for a GREAT weekend! We enjoyed seeing you and are so thankful for you!
