Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope that you are enjoying time with family and friends. We have been traveling around seeing friends and family since last Friday and enjoying every minute of it. We are headed home on the 26th to start packing.

This Christmas I pray that no matter where you are in your life, the circumstances that have been dealt to you, the trials or the blessings that you have experienced in this last year, or whatever, but that you know that Jesus Christ was born, He came to this earth for you, because He loves you. He lived a perfect life, was crucified on the cross as payment for my sins, for your sins....because He loves you, and rose from the dead to exclaim that He is Lord and has victory over death and over sin. This Christmas, I pray that you know Christ as your Savior, that you have a personal relationship with Him- through spending time reading His word, in prayer, and by surrounding yourself with other Christians who encourage you and keep you accountable. I pray that your life is just not one of going to church and living your life just to live it....but that you LIVE because of what Christ has done for us. Because He loves us. Just because He loves us. LIVE with joy and peace and excitement and LIVE a life doing things to bring honor to Christ.. and LIVE a life that reflects who Christ is. How can we do that? By getting to know Him, and spending time with Him.

Matt. 6:19-21 "Don't store up treasures here on earth where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be."

This Christmas, don't focus on the "treasures" and things of this earth that we receive, think about the gift of love that we have already received from Christ. And think about how your life can bring Him honor and glory for the great things He has done for us!
