Busy Days

We're in for another snow storm this weekend. I'm ready to see some green grass and flowers already!

Well besides shoveling snow, we have stayed busy.  Justin has been driving a new bus route where he gets 8 hours in a day and sometimes 9. He leaves at 6 a.m., gets a few 1-2 hour breaks, then gets home about 6:15. He feels like he works 12 hour days. He's pretty worn out when he gets home. As of now school has been pushed back until like June 12th because of all the snow days they've had, so at least he will get to work further into the summer for some extra money.

Here's what we have been working on for Hills of Grace the past few months:

- Getting a new, more modern and better looking website that has more features

- Trying to find some video based children's church stuff to do with the kiddos during the worship service

- Nailing down a new place for us to meet. We are no longer meeting at the school because after May they won't allow us to meet there anymore; so we just decided to start meeting in our home to save some money.  We have a place in the works, but not totally for sure yet! Pray that God would work it out for us.

- Getting a plan together for this summer and for our 3 Preview services that we will be having in conjunction with block parties, prayer walking, survey work and other things with the help of our partner churches who will be sending mission groups.

- Continuing to develop relationships with people we have met. God has been awesome at bringing people into our path who need to know Him.

- Praying the God would bring people our way who want to be apart of our core team. Right now we have just about 4-6 people who are committed, but we could really use some more help. Pray that God would bring devoted, Christ-followers who are willing to be apart of this new ministry that He is starting.

Since we have been doing our Life Transformation Groups, we have all grown in our walks with the Lord. Reading a new book or two of the bible each week has truly opened my eyes and my heart to a whole new love and understanding of the scriptures and of who God is.  Every day I am blown away by what I am learning and what He is showing me. And it is awesome having other people to share and be transparent with about those things and about the things we struggle with. I encourage you, if you don't read the bible daily, to try hard to do it. Pick a book and strive to read at least 3-5 chapters a day. We are reading the book of John now and actually reading it from start to finish is so incredible. Try it, you will be blessed, convicted, challenged, humbled, in awe of Jesus, and transformed by the renewing of your mind and heart.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
